When a condition is truly life-threatening and the local hospitals can't look after you, or if we decide you need to be bought home for further treatment, there's cover in World Nomads travel insurance policies to bring you home to recover. I was snowboarding on a marked trail on Blackcomb Mountain when I caught an edge and had a significant fall. I immediately felt intense pain, and was quite winded for several minutes.
